What is The Arts Society?
Hello and welcome to the art lovers of Worcestershire Open Studios!
The Arts Society is an international charity focusing on art appreciation; its local affiliates in Worcestershire are delighted to support Worcestershire Open Studios 2025.
What do they do?
Let us tell you a little about The Arts Society; we are a volunteer-led organisation connecting people with the arts and with each other, creating inviting events to share and explore the richness of art together. We offer highly-rated talks on the arts and events across 360 local Societies in the UK and abroad. In Worcestershire there are three local Societies; Worcester, Malvern and Evesham & Pershore who all offer their own varied programmes.
- Talks
- The core activity of our societies is staging regular well presented interesting talks on a wide variety of arts subjects. Speakers are drawn from a national pool of accredited expert lecturers assessed and vetted by The Arts Society. Guests are always welcome at lectures.
- Visits
- We also arrange visits to local venues of interest; art galleries and museums, stately homes and gardens, churches, cathedrals and more...
- Study Days
- These are local meetings where we look at a subject in more depth, with several lectures and (usually) a lunch.
- Tours
- Further afield than visits, our multi-day tours offer well organised trips to UK and overseas destinations.
